Alfred University MFA student to have work shown at Larissa Biennale in Greece
Anna Antonia Yiaxi Savvidou, a student enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts program in Alfred University’s School of Art and Design, will have work included in an exhibition in Greece which opens on Sept. 21.
Savvidou, who is expected to earn her MFA in sculpture/dimensional studies in 2025, will exhibit in the Larissa Biennale, in Larissa, Greece. The exhibition, which exhibition opened at the Larissa Municipal Art Gallery on Sept. 21 and will be on view through Oct. 11, includes work by artists who have graduated from fine arts schools in Greece within the last five years.
The four Schools are participating are the Athens School of Fine Arts, the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the School of Fine Arts of the University of Ioannina and the School of Fine Arts of the University of Western Macedonia in Florina.
