Institute for Electronic Arts resident artists' work appearing in Maas Gallery exhibition

The work of four resident artists in Alfred University's Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA) is on display at the current “pull, cut, thread, mold, collage” exhibition at the Richard and Dolly Maas Galley at Purchase College, in Purchase, NY.

The exhibition features IEA resident artists Nancy Blum, Gary Hill, Evelyne Leblanc-Roberge, and Rita MacDonald and features workshops contributing to the broad landscape of print media and handmade paper.

In addition to work connected with Alfred University’s Institute for Electronic Arts, other collections on display at the Maas include work from Dieu Donné of Brooklyn, NY, Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, NYC, and The Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia, PA. These long-standing organizations have made a significant impact on the arts by developing expertise and creating opportunities for artists to work with traditional printmaking, fabric printing, digital print technologies and hand papermaking.

The show is curated by Stella Ebner, Cassandra Hooper and Greg Wharmby and will run through Nov. 11, 2023.
