Alfred University Day of Giving set for December 5

Alfred University will host its annual Day of Giving—“All In For Alfred”—on Founders Day, Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Alfred University was founded on Dec. 5, 1836, and for 1,836 minutes the University will go All In For Alfred in support of students.

“The power of a giving day is the ripple effect that happens when our community comes together in support of our students,” said Erin Martinovich, vice president for University Advancement. “Gifts to the Alfred Fund, or to the area of the University for which someone has passion, help to create experiences for our students that enrich their Alfred journey.”

Donors have the option of directing their gifts to areas of the University which reflect their interests. No gift is too small, Martinovich noted, and each makes a meaningful difference in the Alfred University student experience.

“When our community comes together during an event like All In For Alfred, the impact is amplified,” she said. “Every gift counts, and when combined with the hundreds of other donors who’ve chosen to go all in during the day, the results are magnified.”

Alfred University alumni, families, and friends are asked to connect with us on Instagram and Facebook. Follow along as we celebrate, sharing Student and Alumni videos of why they are #allinforalfred. Spread the word and share your #AllInForAlfred story.
