Over 30 AU Chamber Singers Alumni return to sing together one more time on Saturday, June 10 at 4pm in Miller Theater.
Over 30 Chamber Singer Alumni will return to AU to sing one last time for the 25+ Chamber Singers Reunion. (Chamber Singers would have celebrated 25 years in 2020) The singers have been preparing 5 choral selections on their own and will come together to rehearse with director Luanne Crosby on Friday, June 9 and will present a concert at 4:00PM on June 10, 2023 in the Miller Theater. The concert will also feature the "hot folk" band, After Jack with 2003 alumna Emily Blankenship Tucker. After Jack is a three woman combination of tight harmonies and string band hailing from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They performed at the 2015 Chamber Singers Reunion as well. The concert is free and the community is invited and encouraged to join the fun! After Jack will also perform at the Alfred Farmers Market from 11:00AM until 3:00PM on Sunday, June 11.
