November 9th, 10th, and 11th, 7:30pm Alfred University Theatre Department presents MARISOL Miller Theatre

Marisol is a young professional used to life on her own in the wilds of the big city. But everything changes on the day she wakes up to find the world has crumbled in a surreal dystopia, the battleground of a war between the angels and God.

Written by José Rivera (who won a Obie Award for the play) and directed by Randy Wachtel, don’t miss this intense and powerful theatrical showcase of magical realism.

November 9, 6pm Jake Brush - Artist Talk and Screening Alfred State College, Engineering Technology Building (SET) Rm. 215. Sponsored by the Institute for Electronic Arts. Please join us across the street for a talk by iea visiting artist, Jake Brush, followed by a screening of his recent 3D animation.

November 10, 4:30-6:30pm Book Party at Alfred Ceramic Art Museum To celebrate the publication of William Underhill: Casting a Legacy, a book party is scheduled at the Museum during which the book is available at a reduced market price. Additionally, all Museum books and catalogues are being offered at a significantly, reduced rate. Everyone is invited to visit or revisit the current exhibitions and share in the celebration of the Museum’s latest publication on William Underhill. Refreshments will be served.
