March 27, 4:30pm Holmes Auditorium

Kamari Carter Artist in Residence IEA Resident Artist Kamari Carter, sound designer, and installation artist primarily working with sound and found objects, will give a public presentation on Wednesday, March 27 at 4:30pm in Holmes Auditorium. Carter’s practice circumvents materiality and familiarity through a variety of recording and amplification techniques to investigate notions such as space, systems of identity, oppression, control, and surveillance.

Open draw is free and open to the public. The Community is invited to attend. Models and drawing stands provided at no cost. Bring your own drawing supplies. Light instruction and feedback available. Open Draw does not take place during semester breaks or holidays.
