Artist Statement

Immersed in the realms of DIY software development and hardware hacking, my work addresses a wide variety of topics and aesthetics exploring technologies from the present and the past, and experiment combining them into hybrid systems as a way to change the future. In the shape of generative animations, interactive installations, video sculptures, among others, I strive to explore the intricate relations between humans, machines and the ever-present set of rules that bind everything in the universe and exist beyond the boundaries of time and space. Drawing inspiration from other disciplines such as microbiology, chemistry, botany, geology, ecology, I channel these influences into my practice seeking to tie together our complex fractal ecosystem showing the underlying orders and organizations that govern all phenomena in our reality.
