Robert Simonds

Robert Simonds is the Interim Principal Second Violin of the Louisville Orchestra and a member of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz, CA. Mr. Simonds began his orchestral career with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and following that was a longtime member of The Phoenix Symphony.

As a chamber musician he is particularly focused on performing the music of living American composers and collaborating with musicians from other genres and he's presented small ensemble projects with Joe Pug, Tobie Milford and The Low Anthem. Mr. Simonds is a native of Massachusetts and a graduate of The University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music
