International Drum Circle
Community members are invited to join in a live drumming performance facilitated by the NYC-based, Anisco African Drum Group. The experience will begin with a collaboration with the Confucius Institute as the drummers accompany majestic dragon dancers in the Hot Dog Day Parade.
There are limited number of drums provided by IDEA Lab and the Performing Arts Division. Community members are invited and encouraged to bring their own drums or acoustic instruments.The event is free and open to the public.
