A conversation with Deanna Evans

Curator and Director of Deanna Evans Projects in New York City

April 15, at 9am in the Scholes Library First floor Commons, Deanna will speak about how she started her gallery in an apartment and grew from there.
Deanna will answer questions from the students about working with galleries and other aspects of the gallery and curatorial practices. Deanna Evans Projects showcases underrepresented artists, primarily based in New York, with a focus on painting and sculpture, and the "world between them". Since 2017, Deanna has organized innovative projects in various settings. The gallery opened its first commercial space in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2021 and is now located in Tribeca as of 2022. Deanna Evans Projects is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance.
