About the

Engineering Laboratory

Occupied for many years by the Alfred University Research Foundation as a manufacturing and testing facility, the Engineering Laboratory (ELAB) building, formerly referred to as Seidlin Annex, was renovated in 1986 to provide classrooms, laboratories and faculty offices for the undergraduate Mechanical and Renewable Energy Engineering programs and the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering graduate programs.
