Accepted Student Checklist

  1. Submit the Deposit
    The $300 deposit holds your place as an incoming student. Students planning a fall semester enrollment should deposit as soon as they have decided to enroll at Alfred University.

  2. Submit Financial Aid Information
    Submit the FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure you get the most out of financial aid. Learn more about Financial Aid, the FAFSA, and application procedures from our Financial Aid Office.

Deposited Student Checklist

Already deposited and wondering what's next for you?
  1. Activate Campus Email Address
    All students have access to the University's computer network and receive an Alfred University email account. The first step after depositing is to set-up your campus email account. All AU communications will be sent to your new student email address so be sure you have access to check it often or get notifications on mobile after activation process is complete.
  2. Submit Required Health Forms
    Alfred University has a Health & Wellness Center right on campus. Learn more about the required Health Forms, Health Insurance and Immunizations needed before enrolling as a student.
  3. Complete your Financial Responsibility Agreement
    1. This form is an electronic signature that accepts financial responsibility for the coursework you’ll receive at Alfred University. This form is separate from financial aid. Follow these steps to complete the form:
      1. Click “Enter Secure Area” to sign-in to Bannerweb using your Student ID (A00…)
      2. Click “Student Services” then click “Look Up Classes”
      3. Choose “Fall 2022” in the drop-down menu and click “Submit”
      4. Read and accept the financial responsibility agreement – make sure to click “Submit”!
      5. You’re done!
  4. Registering for Classes
    Once you’ve completed the Financial Responsibility Agreement, the Center for Advising staff will build your class schedule. You’ll have a chance to ask questions about or make changes to your class schedule during orientation. If you have questions before orientation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help!
  5. Residence Life & Housing
    Alfred University offers students several distinct living styles and communities. All new student residence halls are co-ed by floor. In addition, 5 living learning communities are available for students to choose from. Check your email beginning May for instructions on how to sign up!
  6. Submit Required Transcripts AP/College Credit
    If you've taken AP courses or earned college credits, please request to have official score reports and transcripts sent to the Registrar's Office in order for courses to be evaluated for credit. First time college students also need to have a final high school transcript sent to the Registrar’s Office as soon as you graduate.
