Brian Donat

Brian Donat is quickly gaining a reputation as the go - to cellist for concerts, shows and events of all kinds across the greater Adirondack/ Capital region. He is a 2007 graduate of the Greatbach School of Music at Houghton College, and studied at the Meadowmount School of Music in the summer of 2012. He has performed abroad in Italy in 2007 and Australia in 2008. Currently, Mr. Donat teaches privately in Plattsburgh, Ticonderoga and Glens Falls and plays with the Orchestra of Northern NY, the Hubbard Hall Opera Theater in Cambridge NY and various chamber ensembles.

Brian is the winner of the 2014 WeddingWire Couples ' Choice award for his wedding services as The Adirondack Cellist. When he's not playing the cello, he can usually be found playing outside, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing, or cooking in his backyard brick oven. He lives in Ticonderoga, NY with his two four - legged children, Molly and Patrick, and wonderful wife, Jolene.
