Exquisite Corpse Community Drawing Exhibition
Opening Reception January 19, 6-8pm
On view at the Cohen Gallery through February 16, 2023In this playful and fun-filled exhibition members of the community collaborated in the making of Exquisite Corpse drawings. Exquisite Corpse is a game in which a participant makes a drawing on a sheet of paper, conceals their contribution and passes it to the next player to complete a section. The process is continued until the drawing is finished and all parts are revealed.
Special thanks to all the individuals - young and old - from the community who participated, and to the open drawing collective for their contributions, and finally to Kathy Vajda and Dale Inglett, Professors of Drawing in the School of Art and Design, who's students collaborated on many of the drawings in the exhibition.
