April 27: Meg Bernstein, "Between heaven and hell in medieval England"What happens after we die? In this talk, Meg Bernstein, Asst. Prof. of Art History, may not be able to answer this question, but she will consider how one community in medieval England visualized the afterlife in a wall painting in a twelfth century mural, by interrogating the artistic, social and religious context for its manufacture.
