W.I.L.D. about Alfred formed in the spring of 2011 to make the most of Alfred's unique physical setting in Western New York. Our job is to get you outside to experience our gorgeous location and have fun in the outdoors with your friends, professors and staff.
WILD About AlfredAlfred University recognizes nearly 100 student clubs and organizations, and each year new clubs are created.
Clubs & Organizations
The spacious facility located on 400 acres is within a five-minute drive of campus. Equine classes, student boarding, varsity and JV teams for both English and Western disciplines, clinics and horse shows are all offered.
Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian CenterFoster Lake is a lovely, 25-acre wilderness lake atop Jericho Hill, about 5 minutes from Alfred University. Recreational activities at the lake include swimming under lifeguard supervision, fishing, bird watching, canoeing and small craft sailing. Recreational trails, picnic areas and limited camping sites circle the lake.

The Wellness Center is staffed by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to caring and promoting wellness as a foundation for health, personal growth and success.

AU Saxons compete on 27 varsity teams including 20 NCAA Division III sports, one USCSA (United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association) sport, one NCA (National Cheerleading Association) and two IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) sports
