For non-traditional, working students

Alfred University welcomes current and new Alfred University students to the AUNY Corning extension programs, offered in partnership with SUNY Corning in Corning, New York. AUNY Corning programs are presented in a format that fits the busy schedules of individuals who are working full-time and unable to attend traditionally structured degree programs.

Class Format

The AUNY Corning programs include both Bachelor’s Degree completion programs and graduate Master of Science in Education ( MSEd ) programs. Classes meet in the evening , weekend or online . The AUNY Corning programs are offered in an accelerated format, with classes occurring year-round. For more information, please use the program links below.

Program Offerings

Literacy

The Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Literacy leads to initial certification in Literacy and meets the requirements for professional certification in a student’s initial certification area.

Inclusive & Special Education

The MSEd in Inclusive & Special Education leads to initial certification in Students with Disabilities (all grades) and meets the requirements for professional certification in a student’s initial certification area.

Education - Early Childhood/Childhood

Alfred University, in collaboration with SUNY Corning, is offering a Bachelor’s Degree completion program in Early Childhood/Childhood Education with classes primarily on the SUNY Corning campus.

Psychology

Alfred University, in collaboration with SUNY Corning, is offering a Bachelor’s Degree completion program in Psychology with classes primarily on the SUNY Corning campus.
