Claire Tuxill McKenney

Claire Tuxill McKenney is an active freelance musician and private horn instructor in the greater Central New York area. Mrs. McKenney has performed with such groups as the Binghamton Philharmonic, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Albany Symphony, Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Symphoria, and the Clinton and Catskill Symphony Orchestras. She is often called upon to play Syracuse Stage and SU Drama musical productions, and enjoys performing and leading educational programs with the Jewel Winds Quintet.

Mrs. McKenney holds performance degrees from SUNY Fredonia and The Ohio State University, where she was the Graduate Teaching Associate in the horn studio.
