Jerome Neuhoff

Jerome Neuhoff is currently a freelance percussionist in New York City. He has been the Principal Timpanist of the Regina Opera, Brooklyn, N.Y. since 1980, and The Staten Island Philharmonic, Staten Island, N.Y. since 2005. He holds a Master's degree in Percussion from the Juilliard School, N.Y. Mr. Neuhoff has also received many grants and awards for composing music.

He has been part of the music faculty of Xavier High School, in New York City since 1991. At Xavier, he teaches classes in Concert Band, Jazz Band, Instrumental Music, Percussion and Music Survey. Mr. Neuhoff has also played at the Chautauqua Summer Fesival, N.Y., the Waterloo Summer Festival, N.J. and the Pierre Monteux Conductor's Festival in Maine.
