Amanda Long

Amanda Long is a video sculptor who investigates light, color, perception and universality through digital and handcrafted technology. Long teaches in the art department at Alfred University. Her research interests are at the intersection of image processing, computer vision, AI art and posthumanism. She holds a MFA in Visual Art from Carnegie Mellon University, a BFA in Sculpture & Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BS in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University.
