Kathryn Vajda

Kathryn Vajda is an Assistant Clinical Professor. She has taught drawing and printmaking at Alfred University for more than 20 years. She received her BFA in Printmaking from the Cleveland Institute of Art and her MFA in Printmaking from Indiana University in Bloomington. The Snow City and Ice prints have been exhibited at “Mounds Piles and Massing”, Walsh Gallery, Seton Hall University, (2019). “Fractured Habitats”, AC Gallery Beijing, China, (2019),“Indigo Celebrates 10 Years”, Indigo Art, Buffalo, NY, (2018), MAPC Conference, “Indiana University Alumni Exhibition”, Laramie, WY (2018), Cleveland Institute of Art, “ 2018 Alumni Exhibition”, Cleveland , OH, (2018) The View in the Vandervort Gallery, Old Forge, NY, (2018). It was part of the 6th Guanian International Print Biennial, China 2017 and a group show of Alfred Alumni and Faculty at the Southern Graphics Conference in Portland, Oregon. The series was shown as as part of “Configuration” at INDIGO art in Buffalo, NY (2016).
