Morgan Huang

Mingren (Morgan) Huang is a young musician and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Alfred University where he teaches Piano and Guzheng. He graduated from China University of Geosciences. He is good at singing and playing the piano, Dan Bou (one string zither), and Guzheng. He has visited the United States, Bulgaria, and other countries for academic exchange and performances.

He was previously the chorus conductor at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the Fifth Element Choir, and Wuhan Institute of Design and Engineering. He was also the piano accompanist of CUG Music Department from 2016 to 2022.

He was awarded Bronze Award (Folk Singing) in the 2nd “National Vocal Music Expo Show”; first prize (chorus group) in the fifth “National College Student Festival” ; first prize (Group Art Cooperation Instrumental Music) in the 4th “ ‘Yangtze River Piano Cup’ Youth Music Competition ”; first prize of (Folk Vocal) in the 5th “ ‘Yangtze River Piano Cup’ Youth Music Competition”.www.peacepaperproject.org
