Ola Kraszpulska

Ola Kraszpulska (she/her) is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Performance Design & Technology at Alfred University. She has a BFA in theatre from Marshall University and MFA in Scenic Design from Florida State. Most recently, she was the Scenic Charge Artist at Geva Theatre. Prior to that she spent over 10 years in academic theatre, starting out as a Visiting Design/ Tech Instructor at Earlham College, then moving on to Assistant Professor of Scenic and Lighting design at SUNY Oswego. She became an Associate Professor and served as the theatre department chair. During her time at SUNY, Ola designed scenery, lights and projections for over 35 productions. Favorites include Fun Home, Fahrenheit 451, and Urinetown. Ola also worked at Cortland Repertory Theatre creating designs for Sleuth, Always a Bridesmaid and Fox on the Fairway. She was the associate set designer for Geva Theatre's Jane Eyre. Ola enjoys writing about theatre at TheatreArtLife.com.
