Face Challenges Head On

Taking an active role in leadership comes with many challenges. You will be prepared to face these head-on ethically & competently by learning to analyze issues, promote positive change & maximize outcomes for all stakeholders.

The minor consists of 21 total credit hours including 11 credits from our Core Courses and 10 credits from our Electives.

You must complete at least half of your course work at Alfred University and achieve a grade point average of at least a "C" (2.0) in courses submitted for completion of the minor.

The goal of the Leadership Minor is to prepare you to serve effectively in formal and informal leadership roles in campus, local, national and global contexts. It will also help you develop a philosophy of leadership that can advance your thinking around ethics, civic engagement and the importance of working within diverse and multicultural environments.
