Leadership Giving

Our five-year leadership giving society for those who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to Alfred University by making a gift of $1,000 or more. As a member of the Saxon Circle, you will be an important partner, strengthening programs and initiatives that you care about, and enabling us to become even more impactful for our students and the broader world. Any gifts to Alfred University intended for current-use (not toward endowments) will count toward Saxon Circle gifts. You may also complete the online Saxon Circle Commitment Form.

The Heritage Circle honors and celebrates the individuals who have demonstrated a special commitment to AU through gift planning. This includes bequests via wills, charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities and retirement plan beneficiary designations. These gifts ensure that the generous legacy of our alumni and friends lives on for generations. The University is forever grateful to those who demonstrate such lasting support.

Members of The Founders Society have provided significant support to all areas of the University, including endowment, capital projects and The Alfred Fund. The University is fortunate to have a growing number of alumni and friends who have made lifetime gifts totaling $100,000 or more. Their exemplary generosity is deeply appreciated.

The Society of Benefactors recognizes donors whose lifetime gifts to Alfred University total $1,000,000 or more. Our most generous donors are inducted semi-annually into the society. We are deeply grateful to these donors for their unparalleled support for Alfred University.
