Leadership Programming
Description
The Judson Leadership Center offers a graduate assistantship to assist in the coordination, implementation, and assessment of the programs offered by the JLC. These programs include LEAD Athletic, the Student Leadership Development Program, the Women’s Leadership Academy, and Alfred’s Newest Talent. Additionally, they will assist with the voter registration and education coalition each year. The graduate assistant may supervise and/or support student interns. The JLC seeks candidates with experience in event planning, public speaking and presenting, assessment and leadership development programs. This position is 18-20 hours per week.
Qualifications
All graduate majors may apply. Preference is given to those enrolled in the College Student Development Program, or those interested in working within higher education. The position is best suited for outgoing personalities who are interested in leadership development. Candidates should display an affinity for working with diverse populations and a history of problem solving. Organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to multitask are helpful.
