A group of Alfred University students, faculty, and staff took a trip to Dansville on Tuesday, April 21, to visit the New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) Meyer Substation, which is in the midst of a $122 million upgrade project. Visitors from Alfred talked with employees of Avangrid, the parent company for NYSEG, about the new equipment being installed at the substation and how it will help improve delivery of power to customers in the region.
